離上次幫小牛紀錄英文閱讀書單已是2個月前，果然這種比較耗時的閱讀記錄文沒辦法每個月更新紀錄
而且畢竟我最主要紀錄的是每個月的中文閱讀書單和進度，英文方面的紀錄動機，一開始純粹是為了方便之後弟弟到了適讀程度時的閱讀參考書單
所以既然我每個禮拜去還書時，就會把這些書單紀錄在我的文件檔裡，於是就順道放上來部落格跟大家分享
而且部落格還可以隨手放上一些封面和內頁的照片，這樣也有助於我日後幫小兔借書時更方便的瀏覽和回憶
11月份時參加了Parent/Teacher Conferences， 知道了小牛的閱讀程度又提升了
但是因為我稍微還是會控管一下小牛的英文閱讀時間，以免排擠了閱讀中文書的時間
所以在英文閱讀的書籍大致上，他還是維持了閱讀500Lexile~600Lexile之間的書籍(目前他可以閱讀到790Lexile)
如果是這種程度的小說，他大概1天(半小時)可以閱讀完一本，如果比較多章節的內容，約莫2天可以閱讀完一本
他中文與英文的閱讀時間約莫是2(1小時):1(0.5小時)，如果有時候假期學校沒上課，中文與英文的時間可以到3:1
基本上就是假期如果學校沒上課，我們會自然調整中文書閱讀的時間，而英文閱讀還是維持半小時
這裡所說的時間比是不包含小孩自己隨手拈來的閱讀時間，其實小牛還蠻愛看英文書的，所以常看他隨時抽空去閱讀英文書
還有其實小牛也蠻喜歡看漫畫的，但基本上我不反對孩子看漫畫，現在知識性漫畫已經非常普及了，很多時候看漫畫也可以學到很多新知
只是他們看漫畫的閱讀時間，不能納入每天指定性閱讀的時間內

這套書之前我聽一個台灣網友說很好看，但我真的不可能把每一套書的中文版都搬來美國，所以我先讓小牛試看了英文版的
《雞皮疙瘩》（英語：Goosebumps）是美國作家R·L·斯坦創作的一系列以青少年為主角和閱讀對象的恐怖小說，最早由學樂集團開始出版。1992年至1997年間出版62本原始系列，此外也有眾多續作，截至2015年[update]共出版180本，後來還被翻拍成了同名電視劇和電影。
自1992年7月第一部作品《死亡古堡》（Welcome to Dead House，或譯鬼屋大冒險）出版以來，這套叢書逐漸出名，亦獲得了商業上的成功。截至2014年[update]，雞皮疙瘩系列叢書被翻譯成31種語言，共售出3.5億本。登上了包括紐約時報兒童暢銷書在內的許多暢銷書榜。
